Tracked mini skid steer on a front lawn beside an area stripped to bare soil, track marks across the grade
Everyday · Project work

The bread-and-butter, done properly.

General Landscaping

Mulch, edging, seeding, trimming, installs, cleanups. None of it is complicated. All of it is done badly often enough that doing it right is its own selling point.

What the work covers

What's included.

Mulch & bed prepRight depth, pulled back off the trunk flare. Mulch volcanoed against bark rots it. A common sight, and a slow way to kill a tree.
Edging & seedingClean bed lines, and seed put down when soil temperature actually favors germination rather than whenever it got scheduled.
Tree & shrub trimmingStructural cuts at the right time of year. Timing decides whether you get flowers next season.
Spring & fall cleanupsOpening the season and closing it out. Fall is the one that decides how much spring costs you.
Stone & retaining wallsBoulder and block walls, granite slab steps, paver edging. Machine work on real grade changes, not decorative stacking.
Start to finish

How it goes.

Four stages, in order. Nothing skipped to make a number look better.

Walk it with youWe'd rather fix something the same day than have you notice it a week later.

Plenty of crews will mulch a bed. Fewer will pull it back off the trunk flare, edge the line clean, and haul the debris out the same day. The work is ordinary; the standard doesn't have to be.
